Parents and caregivers will learn positive parenting strategies that enhance their child's development through individualized consultation and support.

Program Information

Eligibility for Services:

  • Child and Youth Special Needs programs are intended to support a child or youth who is:
  • A resident of British Columbia and
  • Under the age of 19 and
  • Diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability
  • Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (This includes Autism, Asperger Syndrome, PDD-NOS, Rett Syndrome) or
  • Eligible for the At Home Program that includes children who are assessed as dependent in at least three of four functional activities of daily living (eating, dressing toileting and washing)
