Youth Keep Working

Agora Employment Essentials

We offer a 12 week employment based learning opportunity that prepares you for the workplace, while making $10.85/hour. The first five weeks are job search training, self-exploration and personal management training, followed by seven weeks of work experience in your targeted field, often leading to long-term employment.

Program Information

The Youth Keep Working program is for youth based in the Aldergrove - Abbotsford - Mission area. This 12-week program prepares you for the workplace with a combination of customer service/retail training, life skills and job search training and certifications, plus seven weeks of actual work experience. You’ll leave Youth Keep Working with a resume that reflects your new skills and experience, plus the confidence and know-how to find a job.

To qualify you must be:

  • Between the ages of 16 and 30
  • Out of school and not employed
  • Not receiving employment insurance benefits (EI) and eligible to work in Canada
